Welcome to my child photography page. I am a South London child photographer and I have been photographing children and families in London for the last 12 years.
Do you wonder where the time has gone – your children have already grown into amazing little humans with their own individual personalities. Do you want to take photos yourself but find they move too quickly or give a fake “cheese” smile? Then I can help! In my child photography sessions in London, my style is fun and relaxed, which puts your little ones at ease and allows their personalities to shine through. I believe in letting children just be themselves so I can capture their real smiles.

FUN CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHY IN LONDON
Children often like to play and run around, rather than sit in front of a camera and pose. So I go with what they want. If they want to pose, great. If they don’t, great! I have lots of tricks to get kids to cooperate so don’t worry if you think they won’t play ball! Your child photoshoot is held at yourLondon home, which is more relaxing for you than taking your child to a studio, as they are in familiar surroundings and can take a break if they get restless. If the weather is nice, we can also have the photography session in your local London park, my preferred location for active kids.

SESSION FEE £99
Includes pre-session consultation, 1-2 hour child photoshoot in London, preparation of your gallery and in-person/ online ordering appointment. This is payable on booking and does not include digital images/ prints. Once you have seen your images, you choose from one of the following options. I know you will love your images but there is no obligation to buy if you don’t. Note that your session fee will be deducted from the collection cost.

YOUR QUESTIONS
I am a South London child photographer but your child photography session can be held at your London home in South London, East London, West London or Central London. This is much more relaxing than a studio for your children as they are in their own familiar surroundings. I will normally take photos in your bedroom or spare room, putting a blanket over the bed to make a background and use a blank wall for family photos. I can also take photos of your child playing in their bedroom or in the garden.
Your child photoshoot can also be held outside in your favourite London park. I prefer this with active kids as it’s always a lot of fun!
Child photoshoots can take up to 2 hours. I only book one child photography session per day, so it feels super relaxed and not rushed. Your session isn’t timed and I won’t leave until I know I have taken all of the images you want!
I will take a variety of images – close ups, full body, with your child’s favourite toy/ book etc. I will also take photos of your children playing and running around, whatever it takes to get those smiles!
Parents can be included in photos too. With family photos I can take both traditional posed portraits and natural images of you playing with your baby.
Although I am a South London child photographer I also provide child photography sessions in Central London, West London and East London too. I will travel up to an hour from Herne Hill, anything over this (c10 miles) will incur an additional travel charge.
Lighter colours work well – they don’t need to be totally plain but it’s best to avoid too many bright patterns/ tops with logos. Siblings should be coordinated!
For mum and dad, it’s best to wear light, non-patterned clothes which are coordinated with each other and your child/ children. I recommend similar tones especially if you want black and white photos.
If you need help, I am happy for you to send me a screenshot of your proposed outfits before the session. .
I have spent a lot of time with children so I have lots of tricks to get kids to cooperate so don’t worry if you think they won’t sit still! I will make friends with them and be very silly to get those natural smiles.
In the rare occasion that they don’t play ball I will rearrange your session to another day..Your session is also flexible if your child is sick on the day – there is no point in trying to get images of a poorly child.
The child photography session fee must be paid when you book. Additional payment for digital images, prints and products is payable at the time of ordering.
After your session, I will show you 20-30 images in a mix of colour and black and white. Viewings are either via an in-person ordering appointment or an online gallery. I usually get your photos ready for you to view within one week of your photoshoot.
Orders must be placed either on the day of the ordering appointment or within a week of your gallery being posted. I sell a variety of products – digital images, prints, albums and wall art.
All digital images will be professionally retouched with blemishes, scratches, background etc fixed. High resolution photos with full printing rights will be supplied to you via We Transfer download or on a posted USB.
